防火性與抗震性：膜結構建筑所采用的膜材具有的阻燃性和耐高溫性，故能很好的滿足防火要求。由于結構自重輕，又為柔性結構且有較大變形能力，故抗震性能好。
工期短：膜材裁剪。拼合成型及骨架的鋼結構、鋼索均在工廠加工制作，現(xiàn)場只需組裝，施工簡便，故施工周期比傳統(tǒng)建筑短。
